I haven't had much time to sit down and reflect on the year that's past but what a fire cracker year it has been.
We rounded it up with a winter vacation in Japan, as we always do. The kids skiied their hearts out and we all had a good time regrouping. D took the time to rest from his very hectic year as well!
I've been thinking of what I want to achieve for 2015. And the word gentle keeps popping up in my head.
No doubt it will be a crazy hectic year. It always is. There are classes to attend, a few trips planned, goals to achieve but in the midst of the hustle and bustle... I plan to take things easy in the gaps.
The husband and I have reached a common understanding of each other's needs and expectations for this year so I think we are off on a good start.
As for the kids, I'm training them all to be more independent and organized this year. It's little steps till we get there but I feel it's time for them to learn to be less dependent on my help and me.
Last year I made a deliberate effort to spend less time blogging and more time with the kids. I must say I really like the time spent offline but hopefully I can find time to update the daily revelry that makes the memories of our lives. It's probably different now that the kids are older. I feel like the typical mother hen wanting to protect their personalities online. :) but we will find the balance!
I'm feeling good about 2015 so let's make it happen!
