One of the biggest dinner requests by the kids, especially AngMoh K, is a good hamburger.
It's such an easy dinner, that I don't even mind whipping it up myself.
All I have to do is to prep the patties and dish up a couple of sides and, Viola!, it's dinnertime!
I follow Jamie Oliver's burger recipe with a bit of modification here and there. But, mostly here's what I do.
Ingredients (makes 8 patties)
400g of beef mince, I use organic mince
400g of pork mince
8 sprigs of parsley
9 Jacob's crackers (smashed)
2 tablespoons of dijon mustard
A generous serving of salt and pepper.
Mix the Ingredients Up
Shape into Patties. And Put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to fim.
I pan fry it with butter and oil for about a minute on each side. Serve with sides!
