Still Up North

Nelson is a beachside town in the north of the south island. It is a 2 hour drive from Blenheim.

Apparently, some parts of LOTR was filmed in the nearby Abel Tasman National park. It is also the originating place for the Ring. They even have the original prototype for it in the store of the creator.

What they are also famous for is their beaches and wineries.

If it's anything that I take away from my trip there, it's the food.

Pastries from the Swedish Bakery

We had the unforgettable almond croissant from the Swedish Bakery. The authentic Thai food from Golden Bell. The coffees from the stores.

Us mucking around with the camera.
