Toilet Training

They say it takes a village to teach a child.

I don't know how true I hold that statement to be.

But I do know that when it comes to toilet training, consistency is the key.

My nanny started the TT with Kayden.

She would consistently bring him to the potty every half an hour.

So that sets up a rhythm for him.

He would sit on the potty regardless he wees or not.

In the beginning, he would not tell us when he needs to go. So we ended up with a whole heap of accidents.

Then in the last two days, he started to tug my elbow to grab my attention. He'll then inform me that he needs to go.

Which works out really really well. We have minimal accidents since.

I am so proud of him.

Truth be told, I half expected toilet training to be a pain in the bum but I guess with a lil bit of consciousness and effort, it is working out well for Kayden and us.
